Our dream

Our dream is that all people live a long and healthy life. Our dream is that everyone has the chance to learn taiji quan. Our dream is that all pracitioners can learn the essence of taiji health preservation and not just taiji gymnastics. Taiji quan transforms your consciousness, activates the cells of the body and aligns your reality. Harmonious taiji, harmonious together, harmonious world.

　　In the past three years, our team has spared no effort to become the best kungfu academy in China. We have a unique training environment and an experienced teaching team. It has always been Master Chen's dream to carry forward the Sanfeng School for the benefit of all people around the world.

　　The uniqueness of our academy:

　　There is an old saying in China that no scholar is so well taught as he who teaches himself. Do you know the true meaning of learning for yourself after a master has introduced you to a practice? Internal factors are decisive for a person’s development. External factors have an important influence on the internal factors. Your learning level depends on authentic kungfu, a peaceful environment and good service.

　　Other academies:
　　Firstly, there are many kungfu schools in China. Students number from hundreds to thousands in one school. Learning kungfu is not about following a trend.
　　Secondly, it is rare that a master teaches personally, some masters do not even stay in the academy.
　　Thirdly, external methods of health preserving (waijia) are different from internal health preserving methods (neijia); waijia cannot be compared with neijia.

　　Our academy:
　　We are located in the holy land of Wudang Martial Arts—at Yuanhe Temple. It is next to Zhang Sanfeng's palace—Yuzhen Palace. Xuanyue Gate is beside us, which is the first gate of Mount Wudang. It is named the first pass to immortality. We are on the ancient way to Mount Wudang—the Sacred Way. Master Chen wants us to follow in the immortals’ footsteps to walk to the summit step by step and spread Wudang Wushu to the world.
　　We inherit the major tradition of the Wudang School—the Sanfeng School.
　　We have a highly responsible master—Master Chen Shixing. He teaches personally and supervises the teaching staff.
　　We have three excellent 15th generation masters of the San Feng School of Wudang martial arts.
　　We put a lot of energy into teaching, using the best teaching methods.
　　Students’ numbers are limited in our academy, not exceeding 100 students. We aim not to be the biggest, but the best.

One academy, one family. We hope all our students can realise their kungfu dream by training hard
and achieving the essence of health preserving.

For students who are not sure where to study, we offer a free trial day for those who wish to find out more about our academy, including tuition, food and accommodation. If you are not satisfied, you can visit another academy. This is a free service to people who travel to Wudang to visit many schools and are interested in studying at our academy.
