Sascha Wagener

　Schon lange wollte ich das mysteriöse Wudang kennenlernen und einen Einblick in seine Künste erhalten. Ich trainiere seid vielen Jahren traditionelles Karate und erforsche die chinesischen Wurzeln dieser Kampfkunst. Zum Glück habe ich diese Akademie gefunden, denn es ist ein wunderbarer Ort echtes Wudang Kungfu, Tai-Chi und Qi-Gong zu erlernen. Der Trainingsplatz in einem uralten Tempel ist genau das was man sich unter einem Training in China vorstellt, und die Meister vermitteln einem freundlich und mit großem Können genau die Aspekte des Wudang Curriculums, die man lernen möchte. Ich plane schon für nächstes Jahr mit einer Gruppe meiner Schüler und weiteren Interessierten an der Wudang Kampfkunst wiederzukommen.

　For a long time I was interested in the mysterious art of Wudang. For many years I‘m training traditional okinawan martial arts and I‘m researching the chinese routs of this art, and wrote a book about this development. Luckily I found this academy, because it is a wonderful place to learn real Wudang Kungfu, Tai-Chi and Qi-Gong. The trainingground is inside an old temple, and is just like you would imagine a training in China should be. The master and teachers teach you with great skill and friendlyness just the aspect of the Wudang curriculum you would like to learn. I surely plan to come back next year with a group of pupils and people who are interested in the arts of Wudang.

Master Chen Shixing

　 Among the foreign trainees in our academy, Sascha is a most impressive one.
　 Sascha is an excellent martial arts instructor in Germany with his own martial arts school. He has loved Chinese Wudang Kungfu since he was a child. Thus, coming to learn kungfu in Wudang has been his dream for a long time.
　 He travelled a long distance to study at our academy. As the Master of China Wudang Kungfu Academy, I was pleased with his enthusiasm to study Wudang kungfu. Furthermore, I was impressed by his spirit of pursuing the process of self-improvement.
　 He is very kind and accomodating. You often see his confident smile. He has the ability to adapt to new environments. His good character helped him get used to the life in our academy very quickly and have a good relationship with the trainees and trainers here.
　 He likes staff forms very much. He had heard that Ba Xian Gun is a form of kungfu from Wudang. It is based on the characteristics of the Eight Immortals and combines soft movements with hard movements, with the feature of attacking other people unexpectedly. Sascha was determined to learn this staff form in the shortest time.
　 Attitude is everything and Sascha is highly positive and active in his studies. Whether in or outside class, he is conscientious and meticulous. He even insisted on training, despite not being fully fit. Where there is a will, there is a way! Thus in only ten days, he not only learned Ba Xian Gun, but also gained a deeper understanding of it. I was very pleased and proud of him.
